Concert With the Holman Climax Male Voice Choir, Sunday 15 October 2017 Torpoint Lady Singers

The Ladies' first half songs consisted of "One Voice", Skye Boat Song", "Stormy Weather", and "Bridge Over Troubled Water".

The Holman Choir brought a strong contingent of their membership to Torpoint for the evening concert.Their strong, polished sound beuatifully filled the St. James Church in front a large audience.

The Holman Choir performed five songs in the first half: "Singers of the World Unite", "The Gang That Sang 'Heart of My Heart'", "I Write the Songs", "Alexander's Ragtime Band", and "Comrades Song of Hope."

Guest Solist William Shimmell performed two songs from his Italian repertoire.

In the second half, the men sang five pieces: "Sanctus", Shall We Gather At The River", "How Do You Do It / Da Do Ron Ron", "Sing Your Way Home", and "Amen".

Amongst the songs performed by the Ladies was one of their favourites, the popular song from "Cabaret" called "And All That Jazz."

The evening was hosted by John Payne and all proceeds were donated to Children's Cancer Charities.
