On a wet Friday evening, 18 December 2015, at St James Church, Torpoint, a well-filled church resonated to the wonderful tones of Christmas music provided by the Torpoint Lady Singers, The Rame Peninsula MVC, soloist Maggie Holden and a superb singing group from Torpoint Community School called the Torpettes. As well as the usual varied selection of items performed by the artists, a selection of carols was sung heartily by all to make the evening a truly joyful occasion. The icing on the Christmas cake was the collection of well over £1,000 for the Plymouth Hospital Leukaemia Fund.
Well done to everyone concerned!
